Terms of use

1. Nature of the service and operator

The Carnado service is operated by Dotsphere s.r.o., Czech company ID (IČO) 19632983, with its registered office at Korunní 2569/108, Vinohrady, 101 00 Praha 10, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague (Městský soud v Praze), file no. C 388942 (the “operator” or “Carnado”). Full company details are available in our Legal notice.

Carnado is a meta-search engine for used vehicles. We display aggregated listings from partner sources (car dealers, classified ad portals and other data providers) and send users straight to the original listing. Carnado does not sell or buy vehicles, does not act as a sales intermediary and is not a party to any purchase contract.

All terms of purchase, sale or any other transaction are governed by the terms of the relevant source that Carnado links to.

2. Accuracy and timeliness of listings

Carnado strives to display data from its sources as accurately and as up to date as possible. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee that:

• a listing is still active (the vehicle has not been sold in the meantime),
• the price, condition or technical specifications are free of errors,
• the description matches the actual condition of the vehicle.

We always recommend checking with the seller that a listing is still current and having the vehicle inspected by an independent expert before you buy.

3. Limitation of liability

Carnado provides an information service “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we accept no liability for:

• damage resulting from incorrect or outdated information in listings,
• the conduct of third parties (sellers, dealers) on their own platforms,
• unavailability or outages of partner data sources,
• interruptions, errors or security incidents beyond our reasonable control.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence on our part, nor to cases where liability cannot be excluded by law.

4. Copyright and intellectual property

All content on the Carnado website (texts, graphics, logo, code) is protected by copyright law and belongs to Carnado or the respective rights holders. Copying, distributing or otherwise using it without prior written consent is prohibited.

Vehicle data and listings are the property of the respective sources. Carnado displays them on the basis of partner agreements or in accordance with the terms of public access. If you believe that Carnado displays your content in breach of your rights, please contact us at ahoj@carnado.eu.

5. Rules of use

By using Carnado, you agree not to:

• download content automatically (scraping) without written consent,
• misuse the service to spread disinformation or fraudulent content,
• disrupt the operation or security of the platform,
• circumvent technical measures protecting access to data.

Breaching these rules may result in your access to the service being blocked.

6. Paid services and right of withdrawal

Besides free search, Carnado also offers paid features and add-ons (e.g. listing alerts, price trends or custom Czech registration plates). Their scope, prices and any recurring payments are listed in our pricing and are confirmed to you during checkout before the order becomes binding. Prices are final and include any applicable taxes.

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a contract for paid digital services and digital content without giving any reason within 14 days of its conclusion. If you expressly request that provision begin before this period expires and have been informed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been provided in full. 7. Links to third parties

Carnado contains links to third-party websites. These websites have their own terms of use and privacy policies, for which Carnado is not responsible. We recommend always reading a third party’s terms before using its services.

8. Changes to the terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. We will announce material changes on the website with reasonable notice. By continuing to use the service after the changes take effect, you agree to the new terms. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this document.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. We will always try to resolve disputes amicably first. If that is not possible, the courts of the Czech Republic have jurisdiction. Consumers also have the right to turn to the out-of-court dispute resolution body — the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), www.coi.cz.
