Open Settings → Connectors.

Click Add custom connector.

Name it Carnado and enter https://mcp.carnado.eu as the address.

Click Connect and sign in to your Carnado account, or create one.

Allow access. Carnado then shows up among the tools in your chat.

It works on the free Claude plan too, which allows one custom connector.

ChatGPT

In Settings, open Apps and turn on developer mode in the advanced settings.

Create a new app, enter https://mcp.carnado.eu as the address and choose OAuth as authentication.

Sign in to your Carnado account and allow access.

In a new chat, turn on Carnado in the tools menu.

ChatGPT currently allows custom apps on the Plus, Pro and business plans. Once Carnado is listed in the ChatGPT app directory, it will work for free too.

Frequently asked questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Connecting is free for every account. Your plan’s limits apply, just as on the website.

Do I need an account?

Yes. When you connect, you sign in or register and confirm your e-mail. Without an account the assistant can’t use Carnado.

Will the assistant see my e-mail or payments?

No. It only gets search results, listing details and your alerts.

Are the results the same as on the website?

Yes. The assistant searches exactly like the search on carnado.eu, and every car comes with a link where you can check it.

Will the assistant notify me about a new car?

Not on its own; no assistant can do that yet. Your alert keeps e-mailing you, and you can ask the assistant about new matches at any time.

Can the assistant make up a car?

It doesn’t invent our data, but its comments and recommendations are its own. Before you go and see a car, open the link and check the listing.

How do I disconnect?

In My account → Connected AI apps, or by removing the connector in your assistant. Access ends immediately.

Which assistants support this?

Claude and ChatGPT, and any other client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in.
