How it works
Step by step
- 1
Create an account on TipCars.com
Go to tipcars.com and click "Inzerovat zdarma" (Advertise for free). Register with your e-mail, confirm your account and complete your profile — a complete profile makes you more credible to foreign buyers.
- 2
Prepare photos and a video
TipCars rewards good visuals. Prepare at least 15 photos and, if possible, a short driving or interior video. Ads with video get priority in the listings.
- 3
Enter the VIN and check the history
Enter the VIN when creating the ad — the system automatically verifies the car's basic data. Consider attaching a vehicle history report from cebia.cz (paid, but it greatly increases foreign buyers' trust).
- 4
List the equipment item by item
TipCars has the most detailed equipment checklist of any Czech portal. Filling it in carefully (navigation, panoramic roof, LED lights and so on) makes your car much easier to find through the filters.
- 5
Set the price and currency
TipCars can show the price in both CZK and EUR. If you're targeting foreign buyers, switch on the EUR display — it lowers the barrier to that first enquiry.
- 6
Turn on premium promotion
Premium placement (from CZK 150 a month) keeps your ad in the top listings. For cars over CZK 300,000 the investment quickly pays for itself with just one serious enquiry.
- 7
Hand over the car and complete the transfer
Attach an extract from the vehicle register (free on the Czech Citizen Portal) to the purchase agreement. Foreign buyers need a COC document to register the car in their country — ask an authorised dealer whether one is available.
Rather not deal with it?
We'll sell it for you.
We take the photos, list the car on several platforms, talk to buyers and handle the paperwork. You just hand over the keys.
