Placing your own ad on Carnado

Besides searching other marketplaces, you can place your own ad on Carnado. Posting is free and the ad shows above results from the other marketplaces when someone searches for a car that matches it.

How to place an ad.

1. Sign in and open Place an ad.
2. Fill in the vehicle: make, model, variant or engine (for example "2.0 TDI Style"), year of manufacture, mileage, power, fuel, gearbox, body type and colour.
3. Enter the price and currency.
4. Write a description. It is required, and buyers look in it for the condition of the car, the service history and the equipment.
5. Upload photos in JPEG, PNG, WebP or AVIF format. The first photo is the main one and appears in search results, and you change the order with the button Set as main photo.
6. Fill in the location and at least one contact (name, phone or e-mail) and click Publish ad.

The contact is shown to interested buyers only after they click to reveal it on the ad page. For a paused or expired ad it stays hidden.

Managing ads. On the page Manage your ads you can edit, pause, reactivate or delete an ad. Deleting cannot be undone. Photo changes are saved straight away when you edit.

Validity. An ad is valid for a limited time and you see the date in the overview. When it expires, it is no longer publicly visible, and you publish it again with the Renew button. If you sell the car, delete or pause the ad so that people don't call you for nothing.

Promotion. With credits you can move an ad above all search results for several days. Only an active ad can be promoted. How many credits a promotion costs and for how long is shown at the Promote button, the credit prices are on the pricing page.

Rules. An ad must match the real car you are selling. A moderator can remove an ad that breaks the rules, and the overview then shows the status Removed by a moderator. The number of active ads per account is limited so that the service isn't abused.
